I am looking for the fader option in the Stock head unit. Is this a dealer unlock option or is it a firmware update that I can install. I have updated the firmware to what I found was the latest but I am still not seeing it.
I currently have MM651s front and rear and should receive my SS PN4.520D amp in next few days.
Are you referring to the 2009 FLHTCU in your signature? If so, it should have come from the factory fader enabled. However if you've had to replace the radio, it's not beyong comprehension for the dealer not to do what they were supposed to do and enable it for the FLHTCU. The STD Road Glides, Street Glides, and EG Classics do not come with the fader enabled.
So to answer your question, yes sir this is something that needs to be enabled by the dealer.
