Default Ignition noise

I have intermittant ignition noise, out of the left channel. It was noticeable with two different amps. It must be amp related, since I sometimes hear it even when I switch the radio off. No idea where to start, I'm thinking it may be a ground, or the lack of one. Anyone else have this problem?

i would say it's more bike related. :-)

2 different head units, 2 different amps, 2 different sets of speakers.

John do you notice anything at all out of the norm with the ignition noise such as maybe turning on an accessory, fan, etc.?

The only addition to the electrical is LED lighting, but it's not switched, it's fob operated. I don't recall any noise using the stock head unit and speakers. You heard that noise last time I was at your place, and whatever you added fixed it. All was well for a month or more, then I began having intermittent problems. Sometimes on start up it's all good, other times not. If not, it either has ignition noise that stops after some time, or sometimes it doesn't quit. No apparent rhyme or reason. I'll say again though, all was good when I left your place.

hmm.. weirdness..

check a couple of things for me please..

1.) check your main ground coming off the battery on both ends for corrosion or loose connections.
2.) I'm pretty sure I grounded (can't remember) the amp on the neck in front of the tank. can you check that it didn't work it's way loose
