Default Nav Questions

Would it be better to get a head unit with navigation, or separate gps and head unit? My only problem is that I'm about half blind. Lol! I've got a mount for my iPhone 4S, but can't read it too well when riding. That's my worry with a separate GPS.
If I got a new ahead unit with nav, which is best? Would probably need a motor driven tray unit.

Get a head unit with Bluetooth, then stream the navigation, via free app, from your I phone !!

if you want the larger NAV screen and want to go the route of the flip out head units such as what GP runs, I say go for it with IMO the Kenwood units being the better out there because of the Garmin integrated gps systems. What works for me is the DSX-S310BTX head unit, my trusty Garmin 665 (non-HD branded) and the bluetooth streaming of turn by turn directions when needed (rarely) from the gps to the head unit.
