I am going to add a little punch to the stereo on the bike. 2003 ultra... I upgraded the speakers some years back. Now i am thinking about an amp. it says the speakers need to be 4 ohms. Does it say on the speakers what they are, or should i just go for it? That upgrade was a while back and i dont have a clue what they are...
Yes, it should say on the back of the magnet (usually). Usually how many Watts, and Ohms ( will probably show 2 or 4 Ω )

Also, if you are adding an amp - probably the most important thing is to match your amp to your speakers. If they are 2,4, or 8 ohms - getting the right amp will be your best upgrade.
Check your speaker first and let us know what they are or say on the back (model maybe?!). How many Watts they can handle and how many Ohms at least!
