just ordered the j&m 7.25 speakers. but does anyone know where to get or what is used for the fair pads that come with the rokker series. i didnt get the rokker series but i would like the fair pads but j&m doesnt sell them separate and i cant seem to find them any idea ?
cool thanks ill just use the polyfil. i just heard if you dont have something you will lose some of the sound if the fairing or the speakers arent padded in someway. thanks
what ever you do dont pack the speaker. my wife told me exactly what it is and it comes in sheets or rolls. so im gonna assume if you tape one end to the speaker and then wrap it around and tape the whole thing or enough it will stay that is gonna work. but basically it is the fiber stuff that you find in pillows like wadding. just google poly fil it will come up

This is what you want, just double it over so it's about an inch thick and cut a 12"x12" square for each side. Then just tuck it neatly around the speaker.

that is correct. do as rfberg says and cut a piece about 12x12 and tuck it tightly around the fairing speaker. No need to secure it as the fairing will hold it in place.
