Default Gain settings

I set ny system up using the dmm method posted in the stickies. Ss 520 and 4 Polk mm651.
After i set my gain adjustment, I dabbed a small bit of silcone on the ***** to keep them from vibrating out of adjustment. Is the vibration any kind of a problem with these settings? it didnt take much **** rotation to make the ac voltage jump.i also had a little differance in voltage betqen left and right. I went ahead and checked them both and made sure my calculated setting was the higher of the two outputs.

yes sir most of the time you'll notice that slight variance between left and right channels and that's usually due to either a bad test tone track or some inequalities with the source pickup. Nothing to worry about there as long as it's not a significant amount of difference.

As for the silicone, I've never had one vibrate out of adjustment.
