I just received my pbr 300x2 and my Polk mm651 6.5" speakers
But am wondering if I should even install this stuff now alot of people having issues, I am still waiting on my hawg wired adapters. will prob. be getting people coplaining about the now lol

As long as you purchased from somewhere with a warranty (such as Sonicelectronix), I would't give it a second thought. I'd skip the HW speaker adapters unless you purchase their new adapter braces, without them you'll loose the horizontal fairing braces altogether with those adapters. I've had the RF/Polk combo for several months now with zero issues. Set it to HP with freq between 60-80hz and AVC no higher than two bars and enjoy!!

just make sure your connectors that plug in the speakers (4 each) fit snug on the spade, one of mine fell off from vibration I'm thinking! It must have been dangling and trying to connect and that is why it made the speaker sound blown out.

So it wasnt blown? thats cool, I am thinking of soldering them or using some kind of crimp..
I was told that I need a line level converter with a line driver with this set up for it to sound good and not get hot. the guy is a very well known audio guy who does bikes and cars high end.. I was hoping to get some input from some of you guy who know ur chit lol this section has been a wealth of knowledge and you guys have been very helpful with me getting all this stuff..

He works at VIP autoworks in mentor, he has booths set up and bike nights and shows. What is ur take on this line level converter thing, I guess it helps because it is the stock head unit. I don't know if I should get one or not. Lol
