Default Speaker question

I know absolutely nothing about audio so please bear with me. I have 2 Kenwood speakers, KEN-KFCX693. Would the ROCKFORD FOSGATE PBR300X2 amp, be a good fit for these speakers?
Thank You

Those (obviously) are 6x9's - what lids are you going to use?

Specs:
3 ohm (good)
89dB sensitivity (not great but not horrible - will need more power (RMS) to push them)
Freq range 50-25k (not a ton of bass/low end)

If you got 'em and have lids for them - yes the 300x2 would work great for them. If you are doing a saddlebag amp i think seperation of the amp from the HU may negate some of the FM issues - the SS 350D may give you more power w/o FM issue (not 100% positive on that...).

HTH - GL!

The RF doesn't have the FM issues like the SS and other class D amps do.

Thank you for the info. The speakers are actually mounted in a aftermarket fairing. Thanks again.

The PBR 300x2 will definitely drive those 6x9s very well. If you want a better matched speaker to the amp then later on you can replace the Kenwoods with the Polk MM691.
