RCA "Y" splitters
Can someone explain this to me? My thoughts are buy 1 or 2 (1 male to 2 female) connectors depending on the number of amps connect those splitters to rear channel from the radio wiring up the amp(s) as normal. Is there a reduction in sound doing this? Or power? Also, if i use only 1 splitter is it ok to leave the left or right side of the rear channel open? Thinking of running 2 more SS 2.350 amps. Since the SS 520 cannot be found anywhere on the freaking planet.
Will cause damage running 4 speakers off the 2 channel amp. All speaker are Polk dxi (60 rms)?

Clarion vz401. Comes with front/rear/sub outputs.. I have total 8 speakers, SS 4 channel 320 is driving them all, and using front/rear outputs....I have 2 channel SS 350 and I want to drive the rear speakers off the 2 channel...not sure how to wire them up. Want to maximize both amps. Using all channel, thus think splitting the rear channel from the deck to accomplish this?
Also sent you a PM:
Run the RCA's from the front channels of the head unit , to the front amp inputs ,..............and the rear RCA out from the head unit to the rear amp inputs.
Front amp has 4 channels, 1 for each speaker,..............rear amp has 2 channels, so rear speakers will have to be paralleled. ** Note ** Any speakers that are paralleled must be 4 ohm !!
Remember,...any speakers that are paralleled, will be splitting the wattage.
Check you wattage output on both amps, ( 2 channel amp with 2 ohm load, divided by 2 ), so that you can get the most power to the rear !!

Well, I thought I had success with the SS 4.320 amp.. I wired it the way you suggested... And only 2 channels played.. (this amp doesn't not allow you to switch from 2 to 4 channel with flip of the switch) Not sure if that matter but from what I read you have place amp in the two channel mode?... So, wired the 4 channel only using the front RCAs.. (wired speakers in a parallel config. (all + and all -) for all 4 speakers... Riding all day yesterday no issues.. this morning hit a bump and now I got this HIGH PITCH sound coming from the front 4 speakers... Pretty sure they are blown... Thoughts on what may have went wrong... This istall is turning into the nightmare from hell.... lol

ok just so I'm clear on this;
- I have no clue what bike you have
- You have a SS PN4.320D amp
- You have a Clarion VZ401 head unit
- You have 1 pair of Polk DXi650 speakers in the fairing
