Default Biketronics hand controls

Thinking of selling my stock radio from my 2011 street glide with the on the move technology iPod interface. I'm thinking of going with Sony ms60 and biketronics hand control kit . How do the hand controls work are you still able to switch playlist on iPod,etc? Thanks guys

Yeah the hand control should work exactly the same as the stock I believe. I use a thumb drive instead of my Ipod now and it works the same with the biketronics module

I modified an Axxess AWSC-1 steering wheel interface which cost me $50 and have full hand controls on a Sony head unit.

No. I have had conversations with them in the phone about this cause I was looking to see if I could also with my Sony. Currently there is no way to change the playlists by using the hand controls. You have to do it from the face or use the remote.

as Chris pointed out, you cannot switch Playlists with the Biketronics controller and after discussing with Hawg-Wired, the same applies there as well. Just only so much you can do with the handlebar controls which if you think about it is nothing more than the steering wheel in your car that has controls built into it. You can do volume, change tracks, maybe a few other options also, but not playlists. you have to go to the face of the radio to do that..
