Default J&M speakers

I currently have older J&M speakers with Tweeter and Mid Range Model HCUS-09GTM-c ], stock in rear.. I want to up grade to new system with AMp... Is it a issue moving speakers to rear and getting rid of stock>>.. I want to go with two new speakers and AMP from J&M rather the spend extra if not needed
thanks
will this model fit in the rear pods???

Which J&M speakers do you have currently? model or specifics. Reason asking is if they are the 7.25" speakers i don't think you can cram those into the rear pods...

Or do you want to move them to rear saddlebag lids? Those would fit the 7.25's.

Most look at the cost for speakers and amp and go self-install non plug-and-play to save $.

GL!

Bushy the issue you're going to have is the grills. You can contact John @ J&M and he'll be able to provide a set of round grills for the rear pods. The grills you now have only work with the batwing fairings. But the woofer part of the speaker will fit no problem.

And to answer your initial question, yes you can move the fairing speakers to the rear and add additional J&M speakers and a J&M amp without issue.

Here is a pic of the 4 upgrade-from-stock J&M's I was previously running. In the photo, you can see the the round rear speaker covers to which UN referred:

Another shot showing what they look like behind the grill:

I run the 7.25 XT's up front now and the Polk MM651s in my rear pods. They are being driven by an Arc 125-4 amp. I am very pleased with the results so far. Just hope the new Polks hold up...time will tell!
