Aftermarket Deck and Hand Controls
I am thinking of installing an aftermarket deck, amp and speakers.
Is there brands (Alpine, Pioneer....) that will have a kit that will work with the stock hand controls?
I am thinking of the Alpine IDA X100 deck

+1 for Biketronics--check their website and phone Mike, the owner, for compatible headunits. Hawg-wired also makes an interface unit, but have read, but not confirmed, that their interface unit does not retain the Automatic Volume Control feature.
jswarek was doing an Alpine headunitinstallation recently but found that the Biketronics and HW interface units wouldn't work with the Alpine headunit--you can PM him for particulars.
