Default Clarion xc1410

Well been running 4 polks and the clarion xc1410 amp for a couple of weeks now in my Ultra and so far I am pleased. All started from stock head unit cutting out from vibration damage. So off to Iron Cross for repair and had them install pre outs while they had it. The amp is extremely small and rated at 75w x 4 at 2 omhs. It is the size of a dollar bill only a touch longer. I was able to fabricate a bracket to put my ipod and xm modules below the head unit and still get the cb module along with the amp on top. Making sure all weight loads are off the head unit. I am sure I could have got more amp for the money with more adjustability but the size and weight was a factor as I did not want to put any extra strain on the head unit since I just paid for repair from vibration. Pretty much set high pass switch and select 60 or 90 and done. Sounds very clean and has all the volume I need at 70mph. Maybes an option for someone that just wants an out of box set and forget amp that can fit anywhere.

Default Like the small size

Thanks for posting this. Had been thinking about this small amp. Sounds like it will be an improvement, just wanted to make sure I'd hear that. Cool.
Good Price too.

Since they are both Class D amps ,......I'd recommend the Soundstream Picasso 4.520.

Almost the same size, and almost TWICE the power !!
