Default FM interference

I don't know much about this audio stuff other than what I picked up on here so far. I still enjoy listening to FM and have been experiencing reception issues since the install of a Soundstream Amp. Some guys have had no issues, others have had minor or major ones. I can only speak about my experience and that is with the SS amp, there may be others out there I would've had the same issues had I installed them. I talked with John from J&M and was assured that his amps do not cause any FM intereference. The amp I purchased from him doesn't pound out the tunes like the SS and it is quite a bit more money, over 3 times as much as the SS, . . . . . . . but I don't have any reception issues anymore. I did try rerouting my power wire and antenna wire to help with the interference and also tried using those ferrite cores, unfortuneatley nothing helped. I hope that this might help somebody else that had the same problems that I had.

The SS Amp is for sale in the touring parts section if somebody wants to save a few bucks.

The J&M Amp came as a kit which was really easy for someone like myself to install because I'm a novice at best when it comes to the audio world. J&M sends the amps with preset gains and a warranty sticker over the controls and if you mess with the sticker (aka cut it, etc.) it voids the warranty. John did say that if you send him the speaker information prior to ordering an amp they can preset it for your system. The SS blows it out of the water as far as power though!
