I have a 2014 Ultra Limited ordered, and have a few questions about the new nav. Does anyone know who the supporting company is? Because of the all built in feature, will the system link with the HD trip planner? What about firmware updates? I can find very little information on the HD website, and just thought people here might know. Thanks
Garmin provides the maps
maps are updated from the garmin site just as other garmin products are
In typical HD fashion (make more $ twice a year for updates) I don't believe lifetime maps are going to be available for these units.

well that's certainly good news (if it's true. it is a salesman afterall). I just couldn't get anyone nailed down to tell me for sure one way or the other.

I'd put money on it being true. As much as this might be unvelieveable to some; I actually have full trust in my sales guy. He's a salesman yes, but in my experiance he doesnt BS. Being the sales manager, and the owners son, he doesn't usually even sell bikes at all. He comes out of his office to work with me because I like to work with him directly as we already have that relationship as he does deal directly with my Dept on the sales of the police motors. That and I've sent quite a few buyers his way.
