Default Installing Throttle-Up Speaker Adapters

Any one here done it? Any pro tips I should know about?

I'm especially worried about drilling pilot holes in the adapters while they are attached to the fairing.

go easy.. not sure why you need to drill holes though.. do they not come with holes already drilled?

Holes are predrilled to mount to the fairing. Holes are not predrilled to mount to speakers to the adapter.

I've done some of these. The bottom screw (longer 1.25" pan head screw)holds speaker in place then u drill remaining screws holes speaker to bracket. Remember bottom inside screw isnt used mount bracket. Just go slow I used a 5/32" drill bit worked good for the remaining holes & use short pan head screws for mounting these.

Thanks! I used a 9/64 to drill holes to be safe. I also went to Lowes to buy #10 metal screws. The screws that Throttle-Up sent were #8 metal screws. I wanted to match the fairings screw holes exactly. Changing screws only cost me $2.

Overall it was pretty easy. I read through the directions 3 times to make sure I did it correctly.
