Default Speakers in parallel?

Hey guys dont want to sound like an idiot here, I currently have my 7.1's in the fairing and my Titan II's in my lowers which are amped by my SS4.520 on all four channels, fairing/front channel lowers/rear channel yes its nice to have fader capability but I dont really see much options with the fader control. So ? is Im thinking about running the speakers in parallel and dump the fader control all together. Would I gain more power to each speaker now and how exactly do you wire them to make them in parallel?

Thanks

running the way you are now, you have 100w available to each of the 4 speakers. Wiring them in parallel on 2 channels provides for 130x2 so that 260 and then divide that by 4 speakers (65w each roughly) and you'll see that you're better off leaving it the way it is.

Thanks for clarifying that UN I will leave it the way it is for the time being.
I will say this though when I had just my 7.1's in the fairing going on the front channel of course and no lower speakers yet, this was a couple weeks back I had the front gain at about 11 O'clock and those 7.1's were just boomin which in turn means they must have been getting 130x2 at that time correct? Now that Im running all 4 speakers on all 4 channels Im getting 100x4 correct?

2 ohm = 130x4 or 130x2
4 ohm = 100x4 or 100x2

so you were getting 100x2 the whole time. Make sure when you adjust your gains that you do it faded to the front and then to the rear seperately.

Man Its so easy to understand but yet so confusing for me? I thought if I run 4-4ohm speakers in parallel thats brings it down to a 2ohm load? which would then give me with my amp a 130x2?

you are correct in your math Scott. 130x2 @ 2ohms is what you have wired in parallel with a 2 ohm load. so 130x2 = 260 total power. Then you take that total power and divide by the number of speakers and you get a rough idea of what each speaker is seeing which is about 65w of power. This is easy to calculate when using all like speakers.. When you're mixing and matching 2 and 4 ohm speakers, gets a little more complicated.
