Hello Jamie; I am interested in adding the XM Satellite module on my 2014 Ultra Limited. Is the new fairing more or less time consuming to open, allowing access to the radio so that the module could be added. I asked my Harley dealer and they told me they had no idea???? Gave me a real feeling of confidence.
I'm wondering now if these new plastics would fit the earlier batwings and if it is an available part in the market...everyone could do with a little extra bass up front.

It's a completely different inner fairing so I'm betting there are ZERO chances it bolts up
probably doesn't even have the correct shape to fit under the old batwing
Do you have any estimate of how long it should take to open-up the fairing like you showed in the photo? I would assume that adding the XM module would be the easy part once the fairing is open. I really appreciate the photo, Thank you
Seven screws plus the headlight connector. Shouldn't take any longer than the previous model years, about 15 minutes max after placing a fresh towel on the front fender and a towel on your workbench to prevent scratches.
I am thinking those speaker trays---the white speaker boxes will fit in the older models w a lil improvising!!! An air saw or utility knife...watch them end up being a hot item to add on older bikes!,
Hell for that matter watch the uppers and inners be swapped out for obvious reasons! Stay tuned...already seeing new wheel sets bringing $1500
