What I need to know is how to install my Harmon Kardon Hands Free module off my 06 Electra GLide CLassic (upgraded to Ultra) to my 11 Road Glide Ultra.
I took it off the Ultra (2006) harness from module up to fairing where it plugged into the NON-Ultra Overlay Harness Part #70169-06. the overlay harness is about 24in long and comes from radio to 8 different plugs all labeled with where they go. ie: rear speakers L & R, CB, XM, Ipod, Hands Free. Now... The Road Glide has a harness but no plugs labeled like the 701069-06. It has CB, Rear Speakers, It is the Harmon Kardon Advanced Audio System. just like all the others. it has the capability just like xm, ipod..etc etc.. I need to know what harness I would use and if I plug my existing harness from radio into it or do I have to replace my harness with another.
I have tried to explain this fully... now I am confused.. lol
H E L P .......
I can get a non ultra overlay harness and an ultra over lay harness.. just not for sure which... where.... how many...
i have the NUOH but was wondering if i remove the current harness installed and REPLACE it with the NUOH?
I donmt want to start tearing into it untill i have all the facts of the case... lol
i'm not sure bud... these devices didn't stay on the market very long, not sure why. so finding someone who has one and knows how it installs in different configurations is going to be difficult.
