Getting ready to start wiring this weekend. Was wondering if I could get the Supplemental 12v Power Point-91843-97, plug it into the 12v accessory plug under my seat, cut off the cigarette lighter portion and use the red wire as my remote on for the amplifier? I'm hoping this will work and I can shut the amp off via the accessory switch behind the nacelle when tunes are not required. ???

Fantastic!

I'm getting some Deutsch connectors for quick disconnects for speakers. Currently researching disconnects for power, and GND for amp. Any recommendations?

You could use something like this for your power, and a regular heat shrink spade connector for your remote on.

Amazon.com: CES 10 Gauge 2 Pin Quick Disconnect Harness: Automotive Amazon.com: CES 10 Gauge 2 Pin Quick Disconnect Harness: Automotive

That's exactly what I was thinking. I could prob also get this:
Amazon.com: In-line ACT Water-resistant Fuse Holder - 10 AWG: Car Electronics Amazon.com: In-line ACT Water-resistant Fuse Holder - 10 AWG: Car Electronics
and just build my own amp kit instead of forking out $80 at best buy.
