input requested
so been mulling the stereo question for months for my ultra, I have the tour pak r and r kit so will have pods on rear sometimes and other times not, so heard a SE Ultra the other day with eight speakers, wow, here is what I m thinking and want to know a) what others think and b) what changes others would make,
first, the amps, either 2 SS 4.520's or 4.350;s, likely mount one in each saddle bag, wiring will not be a problem, lots of experience soldering and shrink wrapping, secondly the speakers, thinking of 651's in front upper and lower, 651's in tour pak pods, speaker lids is where I'm not sure yet, could buy lids for 6.5's and put 4th pair of 651's or hog tunes and run some sort of 6x9 2 ways
looking for thoughts
Thanks
Moxy

My thoughts:
I wouldn't use the Soundstream Amps if you like listening to FM radio. Do the 2 4.520's if you go that route.
I would put 6x9's in the bags.
A lot of people like the Polk 651's, but I am leery about mine. Keep your receipts and buy from an authorized dealer if you decide to use them.

1. Is FM a deal breaker ??
2. Go with 6X9's for sure in the lids. Pioneer 2 ways for BASS.
3. I would put 1 of the amps in the fairing, that way you can have 1 amp run front 4 speakers.
4. Lots of great info in the audio forum....

Anyway, amp alternatives depend on where you want to mount them. You can get just about anything you want in the saddlebags and tour pak. Fairing is more limited but you can get 3 pbr300x2's in there with some creativity.
