Sound Stream 520 amp for sale. I've had this amp for roughly 3 months and asking 80$. I decided to go with the Biketronics amp. SS amp is in great shape and it comes with the brackets UltraNutz used to install.

For those guys on the fence,......what are the pros/cons between the 2 ?? And,......is the BT really worth the price difference ??
Seems as if a lot of guys don't really have a huge budget for bike audio, and your opinion could have some bearing on their decisions....
The BT 4180 should be a good amp for you , but they are in the same price range as some REALLY good big name amps, ( Alpine PDX-F6 & JL Audio HD Series HD600/4 ).

The pros of the BT 4180, to me, are Fm radio, fits in the fairing compared to the amps you mentioned, lifetime warranty, and pretty good power at 2 ohms (~230 watts a channel).
It may be more expensive compared to the Soundstream, but it will give me high power while letting me retain my quick detach tour pak and my FM back. If does what Bill at BT promises, it will be worth it to me.
Went with the 2180. My plan is to add lower fairing speakers and I will be done. Most appealing is the lifetime warranty, FM reception and to keep from mixing up different mfg. I found no defaults with the SS other than the FM which I rarely listen to unless my wife is with me or, I'm listening to a football game. As. Far as gain control goes, crank it up until it distorts and remember the volume number and in my case it's, 35.
Yes, it is more expensive and I didn't think about it until now, I should have left my Hertz HCX 165 speakers in to see if I could tell a difference in SQ but I didn't. I replaced the hcx with the 7.1's and will use the hcx in the lowers at a later date.
