According to all of the comparisons I've done on Cruchfield, the BT310 Sony doesn't have Bluetooth control over Pandora and IHeartRadio like 3 or 4 comparable Kenwood models, and more expensive to boot.

Mine had built in pandora...but I don't recall if the phone had to be hard lined or not...

very very few aftermarket head units are water proof. Marine grade is an overly-used term that means nothing more than a product has a conformal coating on the circuit board and usually at the cost of a decent feature set. But then again these head units are cheap enough.. If it fails, simply replace it. The 310 i have and am running has been on 2 bikes now for over 2 years and never an issue. Get a rain shield, AND USE IT

Aquatic AV makes an IP66 rated waterproof head unit

so those of you running this head unit i have a few questions. Can anyone confirm for me if it does in fact control pandora? as in could i run a charging cable to my phone, link the bluetooth and put it away and control pandora thru the HU? when using it could you change tracks using the handle bar controls? for the hard wired portion how big is that cubby? big enough for some of the larger android devices? or just the older ipods?

will work internally with iPods and iPhones up to 4s, and thumbdrives without issue.

tray i don't think is large enough for android device. I know mine won't fit in there. RazrMaxx or the S4.
