Completed my install of J&M Rokker 500W Amp, Rokker XX 6.65 Fairing Speakers, and Hog Tunes Lids and Speakers. Sounds pretty damn sick!!!!!
John and his Team at J&M did an amazing job providing excellent guidance and talked me off the ledge a few times cause when it comes to electronics, my 14 year old daughter has to reprogram clocks, dvr, oven, microwave etc... when the time changes. Thanks!!!
Also a big thanks to Brad up in SD at Factory Match / Smitty's Custom Paint as the pained lids and speaker combo were perfect as is all of his work.
Highly recommend this set up if ur into really loud and really clear tunes. The HD Flash went perfect and took no time at all.
I had an ARC kit in my 2007 Ultra and was very happy with it. What are the collective thoughts on the ARC options for a2015 Limited. Not sure if I just want to replace the fairing speakers or the passenger ones as well. Thanks much. Lots of fun reading here.
I have 1.9.1. The latest. And the speaker was fried. They coved it. I still have to turn the volume up to 3/4 to hear it clear going 70-80 but it's more clear. It's better and a nice improvement but for the money it's not like wow! Better though. I could have gone with the better components out there but I'm ok with Boom. It's not like you are going to get the best acoustics on a bike anyway... Just ok. Better. Not like when I did my exhaust, tuner, and AC. That was a wow!

Ok that is the lastest software update. flashing the radio is totally different. When I first installed my system and did not get the right flash I fried a speaker plus it sounded like crap without a flash.I was talking about how many amps and speakers and if they turned the amps on or off.. like the flash jm recommends..

I don't know what they set it too when they installed my amp. I should ask them too. I went with Boom and my local dealer and just had them do it all because of what I have read in this thread. I didn't feel like dinking with my audio forever trying to get it to work. I figured that going with Boom, I could take it in let them do it all, and I would have the warrantee covered on the system, the install, and my bike's warrantee would not be affected. And.. as it turned out, I'm glad I did it because I had to have them fix it and of course they fixed the issue at no charge.

After much trial and error went with Arc 600.4 amp and 2 Arc 602's in fairing and man the sound quality, volume at speed and overall sound reproduction is the best I've personally found. A lot of guys on this thread are very knowledgable and helped when searching for the replacement of my Stage II Boom! Highly recommended Arc speakers and Amp on the factory Rushmore head unit.
One tip is using Polyfill in the plastic pods WITHOUT cutting holes in them. Tried it both ways (with and without holes) and not cutting holes helps with better low end and overall sound quality/power. Just my 2 cents...hope that helps
I believe that if you look back at post 842 in this thread SG1858 actually did get the BT 6.5's in the rear pods by using the adapters from Vtwin. I have already bought the adapters and I sure hope they work as I think the Titians would sound great in the rears! I am waiting on BT to get the 7.1 Pro issue worked out for the fairings so that I can figure everything out.
Are those the biketronics 6.5 in the rear pods is there a part number for the adapters?
Haven't seen much mention of the Hogtunes plug & play systems like the Hogtunes Speaker & Amp Kit For Harley Ultra 2014-2016 or the Limited-RM 6 speaker system for the watercooled bikes. Seems like a good value or is there something more to it?

I have the $1000 6 speaker setup. Had them install it for me for free at biketoberfest.
Very happy with the system. 100 mph, clear loud music. 20 year warranty on the speakers, 3 on the amp.
Normally run about 60% volume up to 80, 80% volume at 100. SCV set to 4 bars. Does not cut out frequencies at high volumes like it did stock. No head unit reflash.
When rolling at speed with feet on highway pegs, my mind tells me something is wrong with the bike because of all the vibrations on the soles of my feet. Have to keep telling myself it's just the speakers!
