2014 street glide
You wouldn't necessarily need the magic box, but would need the radio flashed by HD dealer.

Sorry if this has been covered in the 50 something pages of the thread but I did not see the answer to my question.

I currently have the J&M Rokker 6.65 speakers in the front faring of my 14 SGS and a RF PBR 300x2 flashed for 2 speakers, 1 amp. It sounds great!!!

I am about to add a tour pac with speakers.

Should I buy a new 4 channel amp like the Sound Stream and run all 4 off this amp? If I do this what flash will I need to do and does the SS amp come with speaker wire to RCA adapters for front and rear? If not can I use the one off of the RF amp that I currently have and use the 2nd RF one I bought for use with the Magic box.

Or... Should I keep what I have and flash the head unit to no amp 4 speakers (would this be correct), use the Magic box I have sitting on the bench for the RF amp and front speakers and hook the rears up direct to the head unit? How would this sound?

Also, where are the rear speaker connections located on a 2014 SGS?

Thanks in advanced for answering all my dumb questions.

Haven't been on here in a while.....just picked up a new SGS a few weeks back. Sooooo I have been browsing the audio thread for several days and picked up a ton of info......thanks to all that contribute!!!! Just wondering if anyone had tried any JL audio stuff??? I know their marine speakers are top notch as I have 4 of their 7.7's in my water toy pushed by a 700/5 amp (trashed the polk mm's that has been mentioned here, complete waste of $$$) and they totally rock, unbelievable bass and clarity. I was looking for the bolt hole dimensions of the Infinty Kappa 62.11i which also appears to be a good speaker, but can't find anything in the spec's as to speaker dimensions.....anyone got that stuff???? Thanks in advance EeZz...

I just left the Harley dealership after checking on the installation of my Biketronics setup. I got the 7.1's for the fairing and the 6.5's in the lowers with the 4180 amp. We had to order some ledge that only comes with the Harley Boom setup for the lowers. You CANNOT order them separately (what BS). So in order for me to get these things in the lowers, I have to get the whole Boom setup including the speakers...something like $280. Ridiculous! Anyone put speakers in their lowers that has found a way around this?

Also, more importantly, the fairing speakers are installed with their new bracket system and I can honestly say, it sounds terrible! I primarily listen to hip hop/r&b and when I turned these things on, the highs were good, but man the mids and bass were not. I turned the bass all the way down to 0 and the things are still rattling. I'm praying that once the lowers are installed and a flash is done, it's 1000% better because right now, I'm kind of pissed lol.
