I was looking to replace the weather seal on my HK radio, and called Biketronics. The gent that I talked with tried couldn't help because he has no access to HK, and explained that their forte' was aftermarket upgrades besides. About 2 minutes after hanging up the phone rings at my desk and it's the kind guy from Biketronics calling me back, and he tells me that someone there suggested he should tell me to try Iron Cross, who does specialize in HK audio. Wow, when does anyone care enough these days to do a little extra like that? They will definitely get my future business as a result.
I do call Iron Cross, and Tony there takes the time to help me assess the problem with the seal on my radio, and even though he can't get his hands on the specific replacement part he offers some great suggestions on how to make the best with what I have until I can find this part. He also helps me with a couple tech questions regarding activating some features on my head unit, and I found out they can do it even more reasonably than the dealer can! Again, thanks to both companies for understanding that it's being treated well that keeps customers like me coming back for the long run.
My radio's on it's way in within a week! GREAT JOB, GREAT COMPANIES!!
