I'm currently installing a set of mm651 in my fairing and plan to order a pbr300x2 here in a week or two. This seems to be a common setup and most people seem to be pretty happy with the results. I also plan to get speaker lids for the rear bags, probably the hog tunes lids that hold a set of 6x9's. I have a 2013 SG so my touring pack is not always on the bike and that's why I prefer the bag lids to speaker pods on the touring pack. What is the best setup for running a amp to the rear speakers also? Is there a better choice of a amp that will power all four speakers or am I better off running two pbr300x2, one for the fronts and one for the rears? With that said will two pbr300 amps fit in the front fairing of my batwing? It would be nice to not have to use the rear bags for a amp and wiring which would be a pain when removing the hard bag.
Power supply emits frequencies that interfere with FM/WB. These amps were never intended to be mounted right on top of a head unit. Most of the time they are under a seat or in the trunk of a car. The pbr's will not interfere with radio.
