Thanks GP, if the hog tune kit wiring doesn't have quick disconnects I'll be using the Deutsch connector....

Still looking for the answer to this question: do I have to have a HD dealer activity the rear speakers software on my HK head unit. I'm installing the speaker lids on my street glide.

Thanks in advance Please advise

UN should confirm this, but I think you need to enable the rear speakers at the dealer if you want the fader control, if I remember UN told me 1/2 hour labor to enable.

I was going to do this, but my SS running 2 POLK 6.5's is more than enough power. I can hear the stereo above my BUBs at 80 MPH.

The speaker outputs for the rear are already active. They are pins 1,2,24,25 on the 35 pin connector. If you want the fader to work you'll need to go by your dealer to have that flashed

you'd be looking at 100x2 for each of the PBR amps and 100x4 for the Soundstream. IMO they are both great amps and I guess the determining factors should be;

do you have room for 2 amps?
$125-ish for each PBR vs $90 for the SS
FM interference on the SS amps

no sir. you'll need to peel back that plastic cover over the fan on the amp to reveal the gain adjustments
