PBR300x2 vs. BT2180 - Heat Issues ?

PBR300x2 vs. BT2180 - Heat Issues ?
Folks,
I'm down to these two amps. There is a big difference in price between the two. I can get the PBR for around $130 or so, but the BT2180 is more in the $400 range. I almost ordered the PBR when I came across a few threads about how hot the amp gets. I do not want a piece of gear in the fairing that's gonna introduce a TON of heat. Does the PBR get that hot, or do they all get hot? Ultranutz, what's your take on this?

the heat issues were NOT on the PBR300x2 but the PBR300x4 amps and that was resolved some time back by Rockford Fosgate.
Heat on the 300x2 has never been an issue.
