Hogtunes lids
Just put some on my sg, the metal tab is falling off where it latchest to the bike what type of glue do you all recommend for this? This install was done at a dealer I am real new to this stuff can you guys post some pics of how you did wiring on the inside..I had my done at my local dealer wanted to see how others did theirs.
If the strike plates are falling off, it sounds like your dealer reused the old plates. I don't recall how much they are, but when I did my lids I bought new. Clean the surface with alcohol before hand and they will stick forever.
As for the wiring, I ran it along the side and bottom of the bag. I drilled a hole to accommodate a rubber grommet for the wire to run through then added quick disconnect wire connectors so I can pull the bags easily.

thats what i thought too but they are the new plates. the old ones are still on my factory lids. i will try alcohol and some good glue to make sure they stick. its only one side that fell off the other is holding on great.
