So bought a fairing in Laughlin April 2013 from Dragonfly. Upgrade to amp. Took about 3-4 months to get it. I drove to the shop to pick it up and had them install it. Drove home and noticed that the stock antenna that comes with the radio does not pick up a lot of the radio stations. Was advised to get another antenna for the radio. Went to wash it when I noticed it had a big gap between the two halfs of the fairing. So I called them up and they asked me to send them a picture. So I did. They told me to go to the shop and they would take a look. Took the drive back to the shop and they said it was the windshield so they began to install it. One of the techs figured something else was wrong and said he would open it up. About an hour later they advised me it was going to take time to fix it and would not be ready that day. So I went home and received a call from them. Because of work I could not get down there for about a week. So a week later I go back. They install the fixed fairing and bring it out to me. The fairing was vibrating a lot and the tech even commented how it was not doing that when they first installed it a week earlier. So they attempted to fix it in the parking lot. As they attempted to fix it I noticed that the gap was smaller but still there. The comment I got was that fairings are not water proof and that even Harley fairings get water inside the fairing. So a bit upset I just drove home. On the ride home I noticed the xm radio would cut out when I made turns. Never did that the first time, and the vibration was massive. When I was it I stuff a plastic bag in the gap so not to get water inside. Still vibrates like an earthquake. I guess I took this as a teaching point and I should have not accepted this. But I guess its too late since it is now about 6 months later. I still use it because it has a hell of a sound. I can hear it above 70mph. Just wished I got a better quality control from the company. I know nothing is perfect but for 2500 I guess I was looking for close to perfect. That's just my personal opinion and experience. Maybe Im just an isolated event but sucks to be me. lol

ahern25. would you mind sir pointing out what exactly is wrong and maybe we can help you remedy it.
There is a gap between the two halfs of the fairing on the right hand side. Left side is nicely match together. Not exactly sure what is making it do it.
Just on the right hand side only. Its where the oval shape of the fairing. Widest part of the fairing. As soon as I get the laptop up Ill post some pictures. On cell and dont know how to post from phone.

Whewwww, original post making my eyes bleed!!
Dayum Dude!!
That gap is not right. It should fit snug with the rubber seal that is there. It looks like there may be something stopping the fairing from coming together. Maybe a wiring cable is not routed correctly or the fairing is not made correctly. Remove the headlight so you can see up in there. Loosen the four bolts holding the fairing on and remove the 3 bolts just below the windshield. Try to push the side that has the gap together you should not feel or see any thing pushing back. Both sides should fit snug.

Its a starting point.
I agree with bissjim. Something is either pushing against the outer fairing preventing it from sealing up properly or the inner/outer is warped. If the latter, you might be able to VERY CAREFULLY since it's already painted heat up the inside of the fairing on that side with a heat gun on low setting and work it into place. This would definitely be a last resort option.
I would pull the fairing apart. It's easy to do. Make sure everything is in place and where it should be. If you want/need to, take pics inside the fairing so we can see that too and might help provide some clue as to what it is.
