I will be renting a new Ultra in the near future and I need some information on downloading my existing Garmin routes to the new built in GPS. I downloaded the audio system manual (2014-Boom-OM-EN.pdf). I'm not sure if I have the correct document but man this one is useless regarding GPS information.
Does anyone have experience with this new device? Can you slip in a sd card and download gpx routes?
Is there a better manual I can download?
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated,
Thank you
Gerry

Harley dropped the ball on this one. The GPS in the 2014's is very limited. Nothing like your Garmin. It is limited to 9 via point, way points (everyone calls the same thing some thing of their choosing). Check your routes and I will bet $$$ that none of them is 9 or less. Probable 50 or more. You can plan a route and transfer it to the radio via a thumb drive but make sure it has 9 or fewer via points or the radio system will go nuts.
Lots of info in this limitation on line just do a search on 2014 Infotainment system.
