Default Ebay or J&M Hidden antenna

All my parts are finally in and getting ready to start my journey behind the fairing of my SGS. As I was reading I read about the ebay antenna and ordered one and then about the J&M and ordered one of those too. So I am sitting on both. I am leaning toward installing the J&M and selling the ebay but figured I should ask for some feedback first.

I do not really use the FM and I am installing the XM/Sirius module so I am ok with service that isn't perfect. Recommendations from the board on which way to go?

Can't speak on the ebay one. I do have both the Harley and J&M hidden antennas. The J&M is twice as good as the Harley one but only half as good as the whip. If I were you and had both, I would first do a scan with the whip and see how many channels you get, then plug each antenna in one at a time, place the fairing over it and scan to see how many channels you get and pick the one that gets the most. Just don't use any of the adhesive backed holders til you chose the right antenna.

I have the 18.99 eBay one and its been good for me. Its not good in a rural area, but in a city area you will get your stations and it comes in clear. I'm happy with it. Been running it probably for a yr now.

If you bought the eBay antenna with the regular antenna end it wont work, they changed the connector on the 2014, I stole this picture from another thread...

I've used the J&M as well as the HD in installs. J&M, WAY outperforms that HD crap.
