Default RF amp install change

I see on the RF website they say to run the ground directly to the battery and not to the fork. They have put out an install advisory. Has anyone else done this? I see people are still grounding theirs to the forks or frame. Going to be installing mine on Sunday and want to do it right the first time. I'm not much of a 12 volt expert.

Thanks, Jeremy

That RF update has been in place for a while. I ran mine directly to the battery..

I'm installing mine next weekend when my speakers arrive and will run the ground from the battery.
They have found there's too much resistance when grounding to the chassis.

Yep. If you buy the RFK-10 install kit, there's enough power wire (red) to make both the ground and power wire from it. Be sure to mark the ends of the Red ground wire Black so as not to reverse the polarity at the amp.
