Default Blown J&M 7.25"?
Have been getting some rattling/static type sound out of the right speaker lately. I thought maybe it was a loose screw and causing some vibration so I took a look today. Everything was tight but when I pulled the speaker out, I see that the silver dome in the middle is semi-collapsed. Is this a sign of a blown speaker or something that would be causing my problem?

Contact John at J&M and he might replace it. I remember him doing it for another member with a dented dome.

The silver dome isn't a sign of a blown speaker, but the noise is. Like BV said, contact John. He has pretty good customer service and will probably take care of it.

He replaced my grill because the mid range dome was dented. Great guy to work with and above excellent customer service.
