Default triple tree/front end ground

hello

Can someone send me a good clear picture of where they grounded their amplifier, or at least direct me to where I can ground my amplifier. I don't want to go to the neg battery terminal. I have heard people say they grounded up front, but I can't see anything Even with my glasses on.

Maybe what side to look on. I have heard HD grounded some of their stuff up front in the triple tree?

I have a 2010 ultra classic

Thanks. My audio upgrade is almost finished

Another question, is the triple tree considered the steering neck, and the forks?

thanks again

Grounding to the battery is your best bet to ensure you will get minimal interferance to avoid static, whining while running or popping when you turn bike on/off. If you really don't want to run that extra length of wire you can ground to the tree. You should have 7 / T-27 torx bolts that hold your fairing on. 3 across the windshield, one below each speaker hole and one on each side at the far bottom. On the clutch side of fairing down by the far bottom fairing bolt there should be a threaded hole in the casting of the fork brace. (atleast there is on mine) this is where I've seen some ground too. If you have that hole, scuff some of the paint off to get a good contact point and thread a bolt through a terminal ring and fasten there.

I used right side neck where throttle cables are routed. You'll find a bolt holding a hook (off sorts) that keeps the cables tight to the frame of the bike. I scuffed paint there and it works fine for me
