Default RCA question?

I have a question about what difference adding RCA cables might make with my system. When I added my J&M 250 amp to my street glide I was using a stock HK head unit so no RCA cables were used. Later when I started having issues with my HK before a big road trip I installed the SONY biketronics kit that had a plug and play adapter that I installed and ran with it. Never thought about using RCA instead of the plug and play harness. Now I just installed a new Sony MEX-M70BT that has the 5v Preamp Voltage, would it sound better to unplug the wire harness signal and add some RCA cables? Right now I'm fine with how it sounds but I'm planning on some changes. Currently I'm running the highly un-liked boom speakers in the front with some hawg werks gauge hole tweeters. I've been running these speaker flawlessly for over three years and never blew them with my radio cranked all the time for hours and hours. But I've always had the bass turned down because I can't hear it anyways at speed. Now with my new Dakota digital gauges I'm wanting to remove the tweeters and install the volts and oil temp gauges, so i plan to remove the tweeters and boom at the same time and install the BT 7.1 in the fairing. I also have a second J&M 250 I plan to install in the fairing to run the rear speaker pods that have boom speakers also. I haven't decided what to use to upgrade from the boom speakers back there yet and have the hog tune speaker pods for the rear booms.
No plans to add lower speakers or saddlebag speakers in the near future.

So RCA cables, yes or no and will it make a difference to add more cables into the fairing?

You would wind up with a cleaner signal, yes sir. And being 5v, that's a bonus!

Check out the Kicker CS674/CS67. Nice speaker and the tweeter depth allows you to retain your stock grills back there.

not going to saying it will be louder or not, but it will be a cleaner signal to the amps so overall a better sound experience IMO.

Thanks UltraNutz, I was going to just PM you but figured there might be someone as clueless as me wondering the same.
