Default I won 8.8 lids anyone running them?
Hey all, I actually won something, a set of 8.8 speaker lids from Voodoo Bikeworks... Anyone running these?

If so how do you like them?

GP, you have been the second person now that has asked that.... I don't think so, but I will advise when I receive them late next week.... wasn't sure if maybe you had some experience with running these in place of 6x9's???

oh man! so jealous... i was entered to win too...pretty sure its just lids they were giving away, not the speakers and amp

I really want those!

Not a lot of choices in 8" speakers. I wouldn't suggest a sub woofer. hese might be the best option.

Those one's voodoo uses would be your best option. Which are JL Audio M880-CCX

Just went and looked at those. They are bad azz. You are one lucky dude. I'd go with the speakers on the web page. I bet those will rock with a good amp pushing them. Post up pixs after you get them installed.

Based on what ??? Please explain how the JL are worth $350 more.. Hard to justify ANY more money, since it looks like the Kicker has WAY better numbers, and better bass....

based on apples to oranges... the kickers are 8" the JL are 8.8" and designed for that opening. get the kickers and you will have to fabricate rings to mount them.
