I recently 'pulled the trigger' (lol) on a set of Mutazu lowers with speaker pods, and am quite pleased with them. I see they also offer speaker lids, and was wondering if anyone has a review on them. Like all their other products they only come in black which works out well for me and at $219 a pair might be worth a look. http://www.mutazu.com/products.php?s...-17-55-052.jpg
Agreed. There's been pretty positive reviews on all their products, but I've never seen these mentioned before. The Cycle Sounds lids go for $360, plus paint.

Cycle sounds lids also have a reputation of poor sealing with the lower bags and leaking water around the speaker. I guess if you don't mind that the price could be worth it. I like my Hogtunes lids. Anybody can paint black, and it doesn't have to be Harley paint to match.
Hmmm.. Too bad they can't knock off $30 by declining their cheap speakers. ** Ooops, never mind
I just looked again at their website and saw the front lowers/speaker kit. For someone (me) who's been pondering cutting holes in my bag lids, this might be the way to go? Flat black paint that really closely matches denim black is easy to come by. The speakers look like Kickers? I think I'll send them off a note !! Good heads up..Thanks
Dude, call them up and ask for Gina (she's the manager). Mention that you're a repeat customer and a member of this forum. As a member, you're automatically entitled to 15% off.
I previously bought the 6.5" speaker lowers from them as well as the King Tour Pak. Each time, I asked for my discount. I actually got a 30% discount on the tour pak.
I agree about the cheap speakers that came with the lowers. Promptly went in the trash, and I'd rather have bucks off instead. The link above is without speakers. Discounts aside, I was hoping to hear from someone who has a set.

I'll do that, thanks. Are these lowers also vented? Their ad says they come with speakers and I'm curious as to what they are/ grills look like Kickers.
I had asked a guy via eBay who had purchased these. He said they were alright but if he had to do again he would have spent the extra and got the hogtunes lids. steered me away from getting them.
