Default Hogtune 6x9 Lids/Speakers?

Just an inquiry as to what speakers those with the Hogtunes 6x9 lids are using? Not inquiring about the sound quality but what brands actually fit clearance wise. I like the durability of the RF T1692 with the bridged tweeter but wonder about grill clearance? I also can get a decent price on Polks (DXi690). Thanks for chiming in...

Biketronics/HAT 6x9. Fits like a glove, including the tweeter bridge.

I just put pioneer TS-D6902Rs in mine - no trimming required, loud as hell

Default Finish

Also curious as to if they come with a shiny gel coat finish or a flat black, denim look Naaa.. I know they'd need paint.

I figured I would have to trim them (had your thread bookmarked for it) but mine mounted right up with no issues. I'm confused but happy just the same.
