Speaker upgrade
If I dug deeper into my wallet, what would be the best upgrades from the HogTunes speakers? I think they are still 5 1/2".
Are the foam inserts or baffles mandatory to getting great sound from your fairing speakers?

Used that set up for about a year, then decided I needed a little more. I pulled the Hogtunes amp and speakers and bought this:
Rockford Fosgate pbr 300 x 2 amp = Ebay for about $140 shipped
Biketronics Titan II 7.1 fairing speakers = about $250 shipped (lifetime warranty)
The 7.1's come with adapter rings and fit perfectly.
I still have the stock HK head unit. I'm a newbie, but still only took about 2-3 hrs installation time.
I am extremely happy with this set up for less than $400, probably close to what I paid for the Hogtunes.
AM-FM are crystal clear and I'm amazed at how this system rocks!
