Does anyone have a Boom Hidden Antenna installed along with an amp under their Fairing? Any interference issues?

One thing to note, IRT interference, make sure to ground antenna to frame vs. battery.

I'll be honest man.. that HD antenna has never worked properly for me in any install regardless of amp.

The J&M antenna seems to be the best one out there as far as I'm concerned. Haven't had one fail me yet on an install that didn't have a Class D amp installed. A lot of the Class D amps cause interference and it becomes more pronounced with in fairing antennas.

The new unpowered one or the older powered antenna from JM? (Assuming they had a powered version like boom since website comments on new passive version)

the older model that was +12v powered was phenomenal so not sure why J&M stopped carrying it. The newer model is a lot better than the HD in-fairing antenna is.

+1 on the HD Boom antenna not being worth it. I installed one and it was terrible! I am going to order the J&M antenna. Seems like they should not have stopped making the powered one though??

Any ideas/leads on a powered one?
