I have searched hi and low and can't find anything on this subject. My goal is New head unit with BT controls, Infiniti's front and rear, with two PBR300-2 (or one sound stream that's still up in the air), my question is this:
Can I scrap everything CB related out of my Ultra, or does it interfere with the new set up in some strange way? I've never used the CB or intercom, nor do I see myself using either in the future.
yes you can remove it all. I as well as Pioneer74 went as far as pulling the wiring harness associated with the CB and passenger controls out along with replacing the console on the tank to the streetglide console.
I did not, not sure about Pioneer74, remove the PTT switches on the handlebars as that doesn't bother me being there.
Doesn't bother me either utlranutz, I just want to get 99% of that shctuff gone. I have no use for it, figure if I'm going to have the tank off for the amp wiring, might as well chase all those wires and get em out.
hardest part was pulling speaker pods apart to disconnect harness inside of each on of them. the entire harness is 1 harness with a bunch of plugs on it from the fairing to the center console to the rear pods.
