As most regulars know i just finished my install Thur. On 1st day of 10 day trip & left Pro has quit working. Balance right all well, balance left nothing. Swapped speaker wire & opposite happens. What else can i check??? Hate to think Pro bad already. Not looking forward to 3k journey with only 1 speaker. REALLY appreciate suggestions if there is something else i can try! Reversed white/ red RCA's with no change but not thinking i am approaching that right.
I'm confused "swapped wires and opposite happens" you mean opposite speaker doesn't work, or opposite channel....?? So when you switched wires was the left speaker still dead? If it was then speaker probably gone.

Yes, left speaker still dead. Meant when I swapped speaker wires I could then fade left & with the left speaker wire hooked to the right side speaker the good speaker still worked. Fade right & with right side wire hooked to bad left speaker nothing. Guessing this rules out HU, & maybe even amp....

First speaker problem post I've ever read from bt. I'm sure it's just a fluke.
I had a similar problem right after my install while on a 7 day trip. Left speaker took a **** about 750 miles into the trip. It was the RCA cable into the amp. Make sure the middle connections to the amp are tight, it was a simple fix for me.

Totally sucks! Correct me if I'm wrong but I think you were the first guy on the forum to buy the proline series? I'm curious to know how your situation turns out. Those are awesome speakers very well made and I'm having a hard time believing it's the speaker. Keep us posted please! Thanks!

Now that is customer service at its finest. What other vendor out there, regardless of the products they sell, would have a replacement part sent priority to you, let alone to your next scheduled stop while on a trip?? Top notch!!
