The amp will be delivered on Monday. BT was kind enough to include wire to connect my fairing and lower speakers. They even threw in a wiring harness so that I can run the fairing and lowers parallel.
Here's my issue:
I also have 6x9's in my lids. I'm now wondering about the type and gauge of wire that I'll need.
If I use a gauge of wire (for the 6x9's) that's different from the gauge connecting the fairing/lowers, will my sound quality be affected?
I use 16 gauge on everything. But that's just me. 18 gauge will work fine.
Pretty sure Biketronics harness's are 18 gauge but I use 16 ga. Sound quality will not be affected as long as the difference between the speaker wire used is minimal ( 18 ga. to say 14 ga.)
