Fuel leak
#2
There is two. It's probably the upper. If you take your time and are careful, you can work both out with a little soft wire hook and replace them. Replace spring if damaged. Just let pressure bleed off overnight before working on it. Lift collar to release. Get correct gas type o-rings from the dealer.
I am guessing someone has had it off since it is leaking. Or someone used way too much stabilizer up north.

Mine came out in hard little pieces , normally it's the one inside the female fitting attached to the tank. I used a pick tool to dig it out , make sure it's all out of the recess for the O-ring so the new one will seat and seal.
The MoCo only sells the whole assemble so you need to source one elsewhere.
The "O-ring " inside the female fitting is 10mm X 14mm X 2mm , make sure it's vinton or nitril not rubber , I used a John Deere part # R26286.
Put a little grease on the new O-ring and the one on the male fitting insert and remove it a few times then seat it
