Just curious as to what the current state of getting parts in Canada is. I imagine it would be a lot tougher due to Covid but I’m hearing that it’s damn near impossible. Is this true?
Depends on which parts and where you get them. I order most of my after market parts through FortNine Canada. Takes a week or two, but normally not an issue. But the HD parts I've ordered through my local Dealer has taken weeks to months to get.

I'd say it is "hit or miss"
I just ordered a part from my dealer and it showed up in a day instead of the week they told me. So that was a hit!
Best I can offer is to look at as many options as possible or go with companies you trust and wait..
It's been fairly tough, maintanance parts are getting scarce and I feel terrible for our parts department because they just get yelled at all day after telling people the wait times. We got warnings in December from our suppliers about the battery supply drying up and now common sized batteries are all going backordered with ETA's as far back as October. I also had no clue that there was an international rubber shortage due to latex glove production and issues with rubber trees until we got a memo last month warning that tires were going to be very tough to get once current stock dries up.
We're seeing a ton of backordered parts now and almost all dealer parts are 2 weeks away in U.S. warehouses if they're available at all. If it's going like this now I'm worried to see what it's going to look like when we're actually in riding season.
I go through a set of tires every season, just installed new Bridgestones because I haven't been able to get Chromes since August. My Indie suggested that I buy another set of tires now, while I can find them, fully expecting shortages. So I have another new set of Bridgestones waiting for later in the year.
It’s been weeks just to get a set of 14 inch bars. Then there is the 4 weeks for boots, 8 weeks for a Tall jacket and the 12 weeks for a R18 garage door!
