Sounds interesting , haven't been in that area , most of my rides take me into the mountains of AB and BC . Might have to make a plan to head east one of these summers .

You should! Manitoba has some beautiful areas to visit, but there are very few really nice motorcycle roads. I think the folks who laid out the road system were scared of curves. I miss riding west of Calgary, but I don't miss living there.
Remember, Winnipeg Steak and Chop house or Chop and Steak house don't remember which but it is GREAT!! The steak tips.............awesome! OH and their bathrooms (well, the guys that I know of) is BEAUTIFULLY done!!

Very cool! I was born and raised in Dauphin. It's changed a lot since we left in '79. Riding Mountain is one of my favourite places in Canada, especially the townsite at Clear Lake. We spent a lot of summers there when I was growing up. I was up there a few weeks ago for a ride. The road through the park used to be in terrible condition, but they've repaved the entire length of it over the past few years and it's really nice now.
