First ride of the season today, plus 18 (64F) and sunny. Did about 50 miles on the Harley. Five months and one week after storing the bikes at the end of Oct. last year.

Everything's kinda Yellow right now on account of the Pollen and the mosquitos have started hatching out so you kinda have to watch out for them.

It may not be all Cold Beer & Crispy bacon here in Florida, but it beats frozen water falling from the sky every time you turn around.
Not a chance! Elbows Up Canada! 🇨🇦

Northern Idaho feels your pain, but we just had two glorious days. Now weather is back, but watch for sand, especially in the corners. My goodness, this time of year I sometimes feel I should tie a push broom or a shovel onto my forks to get through some of these sand piles. At least the liquid grease (salt) is gone.

PS. Let the governments fight, but if you let it affect you and your riding friends, then you failed. I’m still going to ride into Canada because I have Canadian friends and that trumps Trump. I’m more worried about your dollar or that reaction will bring back your past lack of leadership. It’s like no one is in charge of either country and I hate it. We are best friends and need to get back to that and let the governments go **** on themselves.

I do recognize that the media has gone bonkers and in both our countries, we have to live with the hate they sell us.

This is not the media pushing an agenda, this in the US trying to hurt their allies. And maybe for you in the US this is not a big deal but for us, when you start insulting our prime minister, our country, it’s more then just govt negotiations. I think he might have been the worst prime minister we have ever had but you do not insult the country with this 51st state crap.

i am sure if we started insulting the office of the president, Americans would get up in a toss.

So I, nor anyone one I have spoken to will cross that border. Canada is beautiful and we do not care to be insulted anymore!

This is a perfect example of what I tried to say. Thank you. In three more years, they’ll both be gone and maybe we can get on with our lives.

If our paths should ever meet, I’d certainly have a beer with you. My beer growing up, Miller on this side, Schooner on my great grandparents and cousins side.

Now, Guinness or a stout/porter when ever available, dark Scottish ale if on tap.

The only way I'm not riding south is if they reject me at the border. I'm just glad I bolstered my USD in the bank.

I rode across Canada last summer, and there are potholes, expensive gas and beer the whole way. I did get my gold certificate out of it though.

I will say, the US eastern seaboard is a bit of a PITA with lots of traffic, but rolling into LVNV, warm night, and bright lights is pretty awesome. Cold beers and some good times.

Lastly, I don't elbow people while playing hockey. It's a penalty, and kind of a cheap shot in my opinion. If you need to scrap, turn and face em, and get after it. 5:00 for fighting, and then you go free. This elbows up **** is probably some facebook bullshit that some scared non-contact hockey type put out.

I think spring is here. Hoping to go for a ride this week...

"elbows up" has got to be the stupiest quote ive ever heard in my life.

where was the "elbows up" clan during covid when blue collar guys like me were fighting against the infringements on our "freedom" and supporting a peaceful protest so CANADIANS could have their freedom back. oh yea, they were all snitching on their neighbour for having more than 3 people over and calling in businesses that werent demanding you cover you face. "elbows up", but where was that attitude when they shut down a pizza joint when he was feeding homeless people? where was "elbows up" when the police came through trampling people on horses? if it werent so hard to immigrate to the states legally i'd be there already. screw this country and the liberal people in it. youre ALL hypocrites.

When i was "canada first" i got called a fringe minority and was banned from society. get bent. 51st state baby!
