Bendix Carburator

Will a Bendix Zenith Carburetor work on a 95 evo?

I have an HSR 42 but it is too much carburator for the engine. Was given a Bendix and am hoping that I can use it. Money is very tight and I am on fixed income.

Yes.
You just may not particularly care for how it operates on that engine.

Well, I must be honest. The HSR42 is absolutely not too much carburetor for an evo, in fact, it is the best carburetor for ANY evo. If the carb isn't working right, you don't have it tuned correctly. I have nothing against the Bendix carbs, and have a couple on my stock 70's bikes. However, on a bike that didn't come with one from HD, I would never run one unless there were no other options. The Mikuni is the best motorcycle carb made, and will work on everything from a stock 7:1 shovelhead to a 120 hp twin cam.
